This is a translation; if the English and Italian versions differ, the Italian version prevails.

Italian Brawls is a free fighting game you play in your browser. By playing you accept these rules, which exist to keep matches fair and the environment livable. For personal data, the privacy policy applies.

1. The game

The game is offered for free, as it is, by the operator of Italian Brawls. We may change it, add or remove features, rebalance characters and take it offline for maintenance, even without notice. We do our best to keep it always working, but we cannot guarantee that it will be available without interruptions or free of errors.

2. Age and accounts

You can play without an account. To create an account, play ranked matches and add friends you must be at least 14 years old. The account is personal: you are responsible for what happens with your login, so do not share your password. You can sign in with Google or with email and password, and you can delete your account at any time from your profile in the game.

3. Names, chat and messages

The following are not allowed in your leaderboard name, in the lobby chat, in Parliament and in the messages you send us:

An automatic filter removes links, emails, numbers and swear words, but it does not catch everything. We may change a name, ban it, remove messages and restrict or suspend anyone who does not follow these rules. Reports from the game help us: use them.

4. Ranked matches and fair play

In ranked matches only the server awards points. The following are forbidden:

Anyone who leaves a match is put on a break from the queue for a few minutes; anyone who disputes too much is suspended automatically. In serious cases we may cancel matches, reset points and Approval, and suspend or close the account. The suspension remains even if you delete the account and create a new one with the same email or the same Google account.

5. Approval and politicians to unlock

Approval is an in-game currency: you earn it by playing and through missions, and it is used to unlock politicians. It has no monetary value and cannot be bought, sold or converted. We may change rewards, prices and missions to keep the game balanced. If you delete your account, your Approval and unlocks are lost.

6. Parliament

Votes and proposals serve to decide together the future of the game. Proposals are published only after our approval, and the result of a vote is an indication, not a commitment. If you send us an idea, we may use it in the game without owing you anything in return.

7. Satire

Italian Brawls is a work of satire, entirely fictional. The fighters are caricatures with distorted names; moves, lines and situations are made up and do not attribute real facts to the people being parodied. The game is not connected to, approved by or endorsed by any of the people, parties or institutions that inspire it. If you think a piece of content should be corrected, write to us.

8. Game content and sharing

The game's graphics, characters, code and texts are ours or used under licence (the music). You may not copy, resell or republish them as your own. You can freely share screenshots, clips and replays on social media and in your videos, including monetized ones, as long as it is clear that they come from Italian Brawls.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for service interruptions, for loss of progress caused by technical failures, or for what other players write. The rights that the law grants to consumers remain unaffected.

10. Changes and governing law

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top and, for important changes, let you know in the game. Italian law applies; if you are a consumer, the court of the place where you live remains competent.
