How to play
Italian Brawls is a free 3D fighting game starring parodies of Italian politicians. It runs in the browser on PC and phone, with no download and no account needed. Here is everything you need to get started.
Start in 30 seconds
- Open italianbrawls.it on your computer or phone, hold the phone sideways and tap the screen.
- On your first visit a practice fight starts right away: move, hit and try the special and the super, already charged.
- Then pick a mode from the menu. On phones you can install it as an app from the browser: fast, and it takes no space.
Game modes
Vs CPU
1 to 3 fighters per team, taking turns in the ring. Three difficulty levels: Backbencher (easy), Civil Servant (medium) and P.Iva (the freelancer, hard).
Tournament
16 fighters in a knockout bracket, then the final boss, The Committee: you alone against three, one after the other. Played in the dynamic arenas. Winners get 300 Approval points, 600 if they also beat The Committee, plus a special crowned icon.
Online PvP
Challenge anyone online from the lobby, or send the link to a friend, WhatsApp included. The lobby has a chat and shows who is playing.
Royal Rumble
Four fighters in the ring, free for all. Last one standing wins.
CPU vs CPU
Watch two computer-controlled fighters: a good way to learn each character's moves.
Controls
| Action | Keyboard | Phone |
|---|---|---|
| Move | W A S D or arrows | left stick |
| Jump | Space | Jump |
| Punch | J | Punch |
| Kick | K | Kick |
| Special move | L | Spec |

Gamepads work too, menus included. Chained punches make a combo; the special recharges over time, the super charges as you land and take hits.
Arenas
Dynamic arenas, with objects that break when you slam your opponent into them and pieces to pick up and use as weapons: the Naples Market, the Metro C building site in Rome, the Papeete beach club and the Navigli canals in Milan.
Classic arenas: Bari seafront, Naples seafront, Milan Cathedral, the Colosseum, Piazza della Signoria in Florence, St Mark's Square in Venice and Piazza Castello in Turin.
Approval points, unlocks and leaderboards
Playing and completing missions earns Approval points, with missions paying more than regular fights. Use them to unlock the politicians not available at the start and to climb the daily, weekly and all-time leaderboards. Number one gets the title of President.
Without an account your progress stays on your device. With an account (Google or email) you keep it everywhere.
The Parliament
From the menu you can enter the Parliament: vote in polls, propose the next character or a new feature, and vote on other players' proposals.
